Freeda Vanikiotis

Freeda graduated from Worcester State University with a B.A. in English and a minor in Education. Her goal was to teach, however, her path in life directed her to working in the legal profession for the past twenty-five years. Freeda has worked in various areas of law including commercial banking, real estate, worker’s compensation, and estate planning. Freeda speaks fluent Greek, and she belongs to an organization that supports educational opportunities for youth in Vietnam, Africa, and Haiti. In her free time, Freeda enjoys shopping with her daughter, watching her son golf, perusing local Real Estate websites, reading, and relaxing on the beach.

Beth Labonte

Beth graduated from UMass Amherst with a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. She has worked as a legal assistant in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, personal injury, real estate, and estate planning. She also spent eleven years as an Administrative Assistant for a civil engineering firm. Beth has written several novels, one of which was turned into a Hallmark Channel original movie. She enjoys reading, puzzles, and spending time with her husband, son, and cat, Spruce.

Jane Park Farris

Jane grew up in Tennessee and Massachusetts, and has also lived in England, Sweden, and Japan. She graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in History and a minor in Chinese studies. Jane worked for nearly a decade as a proposal development specialist at the University of Tennessee, before earning a J.D. from the Vanderbilt University School of Law. She then worked as an employment litigator at the Tennessee Valley Authority. In 2004, Jane returned to the Boston area where she volunteered in the Social Security Disability section at Community Legal Services and Counseling Center in Cambridge. She has worked as a legal assistant for the past 13 years, primarily in the areas of estate planning and administration. When not working, Jane enjoys reading mysteries, cooking (especially eating), and is crazy for dogs.

Victoria Torres

Originally from Orlando, Florida, Victoria graduated cum laude from Assumption College in 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy. Victoria’s success in her studies granted her membership to Phi Sigma Tau, the National Philosophy Honor Society. She previously worked as a political campaign manager and consultant on several local races in the Commonwealth. She is currently a J.D. candidate at Western New England University’s School of Law where she has been named on the Dean’s list and was awarded the Gervino Ward Scholarship for her development of a pro bono initiative in the school’s Center for Social Justice.

Jolie Wilber

Jolie graduated from Husson University with a M.S. in Criminal Justice Admin including a Paralegal Certification. Additionally, Jolie has completed her TEFL certification to teach English as a second language. In her spare time, Jolie enjoys reading, making impulsive online purchases, baking, driving ATVs with her family, and dad jokes.

Sydney Despres

Sydney graduated cum laude from Worcester State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in History.  She was granted membership to Omicron Delta Kappa, Chi Alpha Sigma and Alpha Phi Sigma honor societies while at WSU. During her time at WSU, she was a two-year captain of the varsity softball team, while also being a two-time Player of the Year for her conference and one time All-American.  She then went on to get her Master of Arts in Criminology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  She is currently a J.D. candidate at New England School of Law in Boston, in her second year.  In her spare time, Sydney enjoys reading, crocheting, golfing and spending time with her husband and her three kitties, Max, Salem and Shuri.
